Sen. Pangilinan and Sharon Cuneta successfully resolve cyberlibel case with Cristy Fermin through mediation.

A Real-Life ADR Story: Senator Kiko Pangilinan and wife Sharon Cuneta drop cyberlibel complaint against Cristy Fermin through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
After an out-of-court settlement through MEDIATION, the couple decided to desist from pursuing the case. According to a Facebook post by Ogie Diaz, Fermin has also issued a public apology through her YouTube channel.
Pangilinan was quoted as saying, "All's well that ends well. We're happy we can finally move forward from this case."
In May 2024, Pangilinan and Cuneta filed a cyberlibel case against Fermin for "broadcasting baseless and malicious statements regarding their personal and family affairs."
This story is only one among many testaments that ADR can be an effective, peaceful path to justice, move forward from dispute, and restore relationships.
