The Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR), an attached agency of the Department of Justice, values your privacy and commits to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and related issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

General Information
The Accreditation and Certification System (ACS) is an online platform developed and managed by the Department of Justice - Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) to streamline the accreditation and certification processes for ADR practitioners, ADR provider Organizations, and public ADR programs, in accordance with existing OADR rules, guidelines, and issuances.
By accessing or using the ACS, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with the use of this system.

Acceptance of Terms
Your access to and use of the ACS signifies that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the system.

User Eligibility
Only legitimate individuals, organizations, or government agencies applying for accreditation and certification under the OADR are authorized to create an account and use the ACS. Users must provide true, complete, and updated information during registration and submission.

User Responsibilities
Users agree to:- Provide accurate, truthful, and updated information in all application fields and attachments.
- Maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials and prevent unauthorized access.
- Regularly check notifications and correspondence sent through the system.
- Refrain from using the ACS for fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful activities.
The OADR reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to users found violating these conditions or submitting false information.

System Access and Availability
OADR endeavors to keep the ACS operational and accessible at all times. However, the OADR shall not be held liable for any downtime, interruptions, or system errors due to maintenance, technical issues, or unforeseen events.

Data Ownership and Accuracy
All information submitted to the ACS remains the property of the user but may be used by the OADR for accreditation and certification, monitoring, training, promotion, and policy purposes, appointment as ADR neutral, whenever applicable, and for other purposes aligned with the mandate of the OADR, and subject to the Privacy Policy earlier accomplished. The OADR reserves the right to verify and validate submitted data in accordance with its mandate.

Policy Updates
All content, designs, and system feature within the ACS are owned or licensed by the OADR and protected by applicable laws. Users may not copy, modify, or reproduce any material from the system without prior written consent from OADR.

Limitation of Liability
OADR shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from:- User negligence or misuse of the system.
- Unauthorized access due to shared or compromised credentials.
- Temporary system unavailability or errors.
- Deliberate, malicious, and targeted cyber-attacks, seriousness of which, could not have been foreseen by reasonable safeguards in place.

Amendments
OADR reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on the ACS and deemed effective upon publication.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
